Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Alzheimer’s Association Lebanon is a non-profit organization established in 2004 with the mission of providing a better quality of life for people with Alzheimer’s disease and their families. We achieve this through meetings, counseling, education, provision of material, training staff, and lobbying and advocacy.

Job Description: The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for the overall day-to-day work of all projects and activities undertaken by the Association.His/her main responsibilities will include assisting the President in all office work, preparation and implementation of activities, and overall maintenance and management of office equipment and logistics. The Administrative Assistant will also assist the President in writing and drafting organizational correspondence and reports.

Duties & Responsibilities:

-        Assist President in processing all requests addressed to the Association

-        Maintaining provision of office supplies,  equipment, and services

-        Perform general office administrative duties such as handling all incoming and outgoing calls, faxes and mail

-        Providing admin and logistical support for all meetings, workshops and conferences

-        Preparing for, taking minutes of, and organizing archives for meetings, workshops, and conferences

-        Managing the petty cash and minor day-to-day financials of the Association

-        Developing and maintaining the organization’s database and contact lists

-        Drafting and archiving correspondence & assisting in writing reports and translating documents

Requirements:

-        BA or BS in Business Administration, Management or any other related field

-        A minimum of 2 years or experience in administrative work, preferably within non-profits

-        Proficiency in English and Arabic, French is a plus

-        Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills

-        Strong organizational and analytical abilities

-        High computer literacy in all Microsoft office applications (esp. Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
